My pilot got an honorable mention, sure it ain't 1st-3rd place but its also only an 11.75 page pilot that competed against mostly features. So far my little pilot has gotten 2 rejections, 2 selections, 2 quarter finalists placements, and 1 finalist placement. Still waiting on the results of the finalist placement but its a hell of an ego booster to actually get some kind of placement for your work.

This isn't something I sat around planning for years, granted I have done that with other projects, but this one was planned last springtime and I finished the bulk of writing it by the end of summer. Any remaining drafts were just updating small bits of dialogue and adjusting the ending.

I've really only gotten this last year of my life to professionally pursue screenwriting and a webisode pilot wont build up the same interest or appreciation a feature will, but I'm on the right path all the same.
